A romantic giant wheel by the Yangtze River in Nanjing, a luxury hotel with great value for money

I dare say, this is the most cost-effective five-star hotel I have ever stayed in, without a doubt! Brand Background: You may not be very familiar with the Hualuxe brand, which is an international luxury hotel brand tailored for Chinese guests by the InterContinental Hotels Group. It has been rapidly expanding in major cities across the country in the past two years. Its design is mainly modern Chinese style, positioned between InterContinental and Crowne Plaza, but the actual stay experience is better than most of the InterContinental hotels I have stayed in! Location: The location of the hotel is also one of its features, situated within the Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park, adjacent to the Yangtze River Tunnel exit. It is composed of three main buildings, resembling a giant wheel parked by the river, hence the name 'The Boat of the Yangtze River'. Highlights: The design concept of 'close to nature without losing luxury' runs through every space of the hotel, filled with oriental charm and a fresh atmosphere. At nightfall, you can also watch a beautiful water and light show in the square below the hotel. Room Facilities: We stayed in an executive room on the 12th floor facing the Yangtze River, where we could see the skyline of Nanjing's main city across the river. The room is 66 square meters, laid out a bit like a small suite, with a walk-in wardrobe at the entrance, a small sofa, and a coffee table. The bathroom space is large, with a double basin design and a large viewing bathtub. The executive room amenities are from L'Occitane (it is said that the suites have Hermès). Dining Facilities: In addition to the all-day dining restaurant, there is the high-end Chinese restaurant 'Cai Feng Lou' that we are familiar with from InterContinental hotels, which has also been 'handed down' to Hualuxe. This restaurant specializes in authentic Huaiyang cuisine and is complemented by new-style Cantonese dishes, worth experiencing. Wellness Facilities: The wellness center is also a highlight of the hotel, with a vitality gym (a dynamic gym equipped with top American brand 'Technogym' equipment), a tennis court, and a super cool 8-lane bowling alley, which is rare in general hotels.
