The most valuable cultural relics of Qixia Temple are the three treasures of the temple, namely: the Tang stele - Ming Zhengjun Stele, the Sarira Pagoda of the Five Dynasties - the largest Sarira Pagoda in China, and the Thousand Buddha Cliff excavated in the Southern Dynasties. The Sarira Pagoda is 18.73 meters high and is made of granite. The pagoda is full of Buddhist carvings, with elegant shapes and exquisite carvings, and is known as a representative of Buddhist art in Jiangnan. It is said that the underground palace under the pagoda is said to contain the relics of the Buddha. This Sarira Pagoda was built in the Sui Dynasty, and the existing one is a relic of the Southern Tang Dynasty, which is a rare dense-eave pagoda of the Five Dynasties in southern China, and a representative work of stone carvings in Jiangnan during the Tang and Song Dynasties.
