Xuanwu Lake Fall Walk: Create Your Own Fall Romance

📍Xuanwu Lake, Nanjing (Taiping Gate) 🚇Transportation: Take Metro Line 4 to Jiuhuashan Station, Exit 1, then walk for about 10 minutes 📌Fall Walk Route: Route: Sun Palace - Shili Longdi - Love God Square - Lovers' Garden - Today, I started from Xuanwu Lake opposite Baima Park. The lotus leaves in the lake have mostly withered and turned yellow. Walking along the lake, there weren't many people, and I saw leaves of various shapes, sycamore fruits, red berries on evergreen trees, and unknown wildflowers scattered along the roadside. I also saw many soapberry trees in Lovers' Garden, which looked great in photos. I collected a basket of leaves to take home and dry for decoration. - There were especially many of these (photo 3). Does anyone know what kind of tree this is? They start out green, then slowly turn yellow and red from the middle. The leaves are so beautiful during this process. - Before leaving, I unexpectedly saw a pink-orange sunset (photo 4). I love collecting fall leaves. It's such a healing experience!
