Yihe Road: Half of the Republic of China history

Yihe Road, also known as the Republic of China Architecture Museum, is the street with the most Republic of China-style buildings in China, with traces of the lives of Nationalist generals. The Yihe Road Mansion District is about 378,000 square meters in length and still retains 225 Republic of China-style buildings, most of which are two-story houses with a combination of Chinese and Western styles, yellow walls, black tiles, and plane trees and ginkgo trees dotting the entire street, making it a great place for photos. Tips: The mansion district has hotels, cafes, and other businesses open to the public, allowing for a more immersive experience, with a sense of the Republic of China and modern times intertwined.
