Nanning has many parks with tropical, lush green landscapes; it is one of the "greenest" cities in China, and it's known as "Green City". One of the most popular parks is Nanhu Lake Park, located southeast of Nanning City. It is home to a large variety of subtropical plants, including palm trees, Chinese fan palms, and cajeput. Meanwhile, aquatic scenery is also a major tourist attraction for visitors and residents of the park. And there are three "gardens with gardens,", which have more than 200 kinds of rare Chinese herbal medicine. There is a gallery called Baise Uprising Exhibition Hall worth visiting, which was built in 1984. It was built to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the Baise-Longzhou uprising. There are martyr statues of Limingrui and Weibaqun and historical relics in the exhibition hall. The Martyrs Memorial Stele Base has an inscription written by Comrade Deng Xiaoping.
