Hotel: Nantong Marriott Hotel Price: 600-700 RMB/11000 points Room Type: Executive Suite (Member Upgrade) Hotel Introduction: Nantong Marriott is the first Marriott hotel in Nantong, opened in 2022, located in the Nantong Innovation Zone, overlooking the beautiful Zilang Lake. Together with Nantong International Conference Center, Art Museum, Grand Theater, Zilang Tiandi, and Zilang Lake Park, it forms a lakeside architectural complex, providing a leisure sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and is also a great place for family outings. Hotel Services: Positioned as a resort hotel, the service is very attentive. After parking, the concierge comes to open the door and help with luggage. The front desk and room service staff are also very enthusiastic. The rooms were fully booked that day, but members were still arranged in an executive suite, possibly because two additional rooms were booked with cash. An extra breakfast was generously provided because we brought a nanny. Room service was also very responsive. Room Condition: The initial impression of the executive suite is spacious, with a 180-degree floor-to-ceiling window in the living room, a large sofa, and a panoramic view of Zilang Lake. The bedroom is bright and transparent, with a distant view of Zilang Lake from the bed, and the small bedside lamp adds a touch of style. There are two bathrooms, a guest bathroom in the living room, which is perfect for the nanny to sleep in the living room. The main bathroom is large, with double sinks, a separate bathtub, and black marble flooring, giving a sense of quality. There is also a walk-in closet partition between the bathroom and the living room. Hotel Public Area: The hotel's owner is the Development Zone Government, so both the guest rooms and public areas show a lot of effort. The lobby's pool sculpture has a bit of a Capella feel, and some decorative small sculptures are also very artistic. Coupled with the faint fragrance in the hotel's public area, it is very refreshing. Overall, the hotel's public area is very grand and stands out among the Marriott brand in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. Family Activities: The hotel itself seems to have no playground, but because it overlooks the entire Zilang Lake, the Zilang Lake architectural complex has become the best place for family outings. On one side of the hotel is Zilang Tiandi, which is great for family outings, and inside it is xspace. On the side and opposite the hotel are Nantong Grand Theater and Nantong Art Museum, which have very distinctive architecture, suitable for older children to visit. Across the lake from the hotel, Zilang Park has a white sandy beach where young children can dig in the sand for half a day. The hotel rents electric cars for a tour around the lake. Within half an hour's drive from the hotel, there is Nantong Wildlife Park and Ice and Snow World, where you can spend a whole day. However, the weather is hot recently, so it is recommended to buy night tickets for the zoo. Lounge/Breakfast: Family members said the lounge is very good, with a wide variety of dishes, including braised pork and noodle stalls, so you can have a meal without leaving the hotel. Compared to the lounge, breakfast is really disappointing. The variety is quite complete, but the quality is average. The only impressive dish is the beef noodles, not beef brisket, but sliced beef, which tastes good.
