How great is it to live like a local? This is one of the reasons why I want to go back to Naples

The first time I knew about Naples was because of 'My Brilliant Friend'. This time, in this southern Italian city, I stayed in the middle-class neighborhood of Vomero, located halfway up the mountain. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: This boutique hotel in Vomero is a cost-effective base for exploring Naples and the surrounding areas, with a total of 8 rooms to choose from. 📍Week-end a Napoli Address: Via Enrico Alvino 157, Naples, Italy 🏨Exterior and Interior: ➡️Family building renovation, spanning three generations. This house is nearly 200 years old, amazing! ➡️Nostalgic and retro, the green metal door makes you feel like you've traveled back in time. ➡️The interior is also decorated with paintings and various wood carvings made by the landlord's grandfather and the landlord, very exquisite. ➡️The retro and Italian local style decoration maximizes the homey atmosphere. 🥰Check-in Experience: At first, I thought the house was a bit old and worried about the safety of the neighborhood, but after checking in, I found it to be very safe and reliable. The landlord thoughtfully prepared multiple locks, giving it a bit of an escape room feel, but very safe. 🛏️Room Features: 🌟The room is full of the life atmosphere of local Neapolitans, and some furniture was made by the landlord Paolo himself. 🌟Each room's large bed can be converted into a double bed, flexible to meet the needs of different guests. 🌟The breakfast area is filled with the landlord and family's life moments and life-filled decorations. 🌆Old photos, 🔮delicate miniature models, 📕books, 🕯️fragrances, ☕️coffee... very warm and comfortable. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: Very quiet, good soundproofing. There is daily cleaning by the aunt. 🏕️Surrounding Attractions: ✅There are historical and cultural attractions such as the San Martino Monastery and the Castel Sant'Elmo. ✅Many high-end shops and commercial streets. ✅Local authentic restaurants and cafes. ✅A 10-minute drive to overlook the blue coastline and Mount Vesuvius. 💰️Per Capita Consumption: 80 Euros 💗Other Tips: ☕️Breakfast Experience: Breakfast is eaten in a very local-style dining room. Order your meal the day before, and the staff will prepare it the next day. 🚶Travel Suggestions: The landlord couple Paolo and Patricia will provide day trip suggestions for historical and cultural attractions in Naples and the surrounding bays such as Amalfi, Sorrento, Capri, Positano, and Pompeii, and even assist with booking. You can also sign up for a local cooking class to make pizza 🍕. Unfortunately, the stay was short this time, otherwise, I would have definitely taken a few more classes! 🍽️Surrounding Restaurants: The restaurants recommended by the landlord are simply amazing! 1️⃣Had pizza at a store that has been passed down for five generations. 2️⃣Had Italian food at a fine dining restaurant, with lots of fresh seafood ingredients, and the cooking method fully brought out the original flavor of the ingredients, really unforgettable. This hotel and these restaurants and foods are the best reasons for us to go back to Naples next time! Must revisit!
