I can’t get enough of Egypt. As a solo traveller, my main obstacle is language barriers. However, this does not stopping me to explore one of the magical ( human made) structure which is Pyramid of Giza. During my visit, it was not too crowded at the ticket counter and within 10 mins, I’m already enter the site. Please be extra careful with the scammer when they told you they’re authorized agent for pyramid tour, they always show you their name tag/ lanyard. The best thing is to ignore them. Take your time while you on site, since there is no time limit for visitor. And please bring enough water since the pyramid area is so huge! ##100waysoftravel

If you love history and are curious to see what our previous civilizations achieved then this is it as it mind boggling and Magnificent both at the same time. you really have to negotiate with the tourist guides or they may charge you more by enticing you to go further even if you settled for just one or two excursions within the pyramids Agree with everything that has already been said. The last wonder of the ancient world, sureal. We arrived at about 11.30 am and it was not overcrowded. We had already hired a guide but there are guides on site to hire too. We didn't go inside, but to see them and soak up the atmosphere was more than enough. Took a camel ride, and the photographer took some really great photos. Then we went to the sphinx. It's definitely a bucket list not to be missed. We visited the Great Pyramid of Kohfu yesterday as part of a tour and it was amazing once in a lifetime experience you'll get to enjoy. It's part of the Giza Necropolis and the last wonder of the ancient world and should be on your bucket list! We arrived at the entry by the great pyramid at 8.30 and it was not very crowded. Entry to tombs of the Pyramid costs extra 1800 Egyptian dollars but recommended if you're not claustrophobic and have good knees as you need to crawl and duck in a few sections. The place gets busy after 10 so the earliest you can go in, it will be easier to experience. You can photograph inside but might have to tip the people who take them for you. Overall highly recommended!

Just after landing, we rushed to the highlight of our Egypt trip today - the "Khufu Pyramid", located 16 kilometers south of Cairo. It is undoubtedly the tallest and largest building in the world. The three pyramids seen on site have stood on the Giza plateau for more than 4,500 years. They were built by three generations of Pharaoh Khufu's family in the Fourth Dynasty of ancient Egypt, and are commonly known as the "Father, Son, and Grandson Pyramids". The Great Pyramid of Giza is 146 meters high and is made up of approximately 2.3 million stone blocks. This place you should visit. It is so beautiful and fantastic. If you would like to see the big view of Pyramid, I recommend you to ride the camel outside of the pyramid because you can see the whole picture. #celebratewithtrip In person, it’s astounding when you look at the size and symmetry of the pyramids. And to think - they made such a wondrous structure so many years ago. The reality is: standing next to the Pyramids makes me feel meek and small. There are three pyramids in the Giza Pyramid complex, built by three pharaohs, each pyramid smaller than the other. The biggest is the Great Pyramid of Giza, aka the Pyramid of Khufu, the slightly smaller Pyramid of Khafre, and the relatively modest-sized Pyramid of Menkaure. Seeing the inside of the pyramid was on the top of my bucket list in Egypt. Going inside the pyramid felt like I was traveling back in time. The excitement and anticipation were really getting to me. I felt like an explorer going into the darkness to uncover the pyramid’s secrets. You have to go through small passages and tunnels to go inside the pyramid. While you’re in these passageways, you can see the sun shining through the cracks on the inside of the pyramid. It honestly feels dreamlike.

Going to see the pyramids might be the most cliche thing you could do while you’re in Egypt but it’s definitely worth it. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and the only remain standing of the traditional seven wonders of the world and once you set foot in the complex then you would understand why is it such a wonder and hopelessly surrender to the marvel architecture and astounding view. A dream come true - Pyramids and camel ride

This trip has always been on our bucket list. Have you ever seen something in so many text books and movies and then have that awkward feeling of realisation that you’re actually standing right in front of it? We did with the Pyramids. As one of Egypt’s iconic archaeological sites, the Giza Pyramid complex (including the Sphinx) is a must for anyone in this world. What made it even more special for us, is exploring this on a camel (first time camel riding)! Whilst in Cairo, we also visited the Egyptian museum and the Papyrus Institute. The trip also featured a trip on the Nile on a felucca (a traditional Egyptian wooden boat) and a lunch on the Nile on a floating restaurant. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid and tomb of Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khufu. Built in the 26th century BC in Giza. Even though the location is not very convenient as it is a bit far from downtown, it is still totally worthy to visit. You might need a whole morning or a whole afternoon to plan both: the transportation and sightseen time for this place. It’s a place that is worthy to see both: during day and night time as the lights makes the place look stunning. It is more comfortable to visit this place in the morning or late afternoon as the weather is quite hot. This place is open everyday from 8am to 5pm. #createwithtrip #gizapyramid #egypt

Visiting the pyramids 🏛️

#closetonature Visiting the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt was an absolute bucket-list experience! Standing in front of these ancient wonders, especially the Great Pyramid, left me in awe. The entrance fee to the Giza Plateau is about 240 EGP (around $8), and if you want to enter the Great Pyramid itself, it’s an additional 400 EGP. The sheer scale of these monuments is mind-blowing, and seeing the Sphinx up close added even more magic to the day. The best part was exploring the desert surroundings on a camel ride, with the pyramids towering in the background—it felt like stepping back in time. Afterward, I visited the nearby Solar Boat Museum, which gave me an even deeper understanding of Egypt’s incredible history.
