Times Square, the Most Iconic Spot in Ne

Times Square is one of the most iconic places to visit in New York. As a tourist or first time visitor to New York, Times Square feels like stepping into a movie as it’s a place we’ve all seen a million times in movies and TV. Stepping foot there in reality though, is quite a visceral and surreal experience, especially because its pretty much exactly as you imagine it to be. Huge crowds of people walking briskily to places they need to be, tons of gridlocked traffic going in every direction you can see, construction happening somewhere in the distance, the smell of New York hot dogs on the road side and fresh strong coffee being made down an alleyway, all against the backdrop of the iconic neon lights and billboards that we all know of Times Square. Even though its common knowledge that the locals don’t spend much time here, there’s also a million activities to do if you’re a tourist, many flagship stores, shopping, merchandise, souvenirs and restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes line the streets of Times Square as well as many other tourist attractions. #newyork #timessquare #awesomepic #nyedestinations #travelinspiration #neoncities #summervacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge was the longest suspension bridge when it was first built, but despite being a marvel of engineering in its era, this is probably not the reason you will be coming to visit this landmark. Instead, the Brooklyn Bridge has become an iconic piece of New York history that is as well-known as the suburb of Brooklyn itself. Shown in many movies, sitcoms and other TV shows, the Brooklyn bridge is also considered one of the most beautiful bridges in the world because of its vintage styling that can be described as quintessentially “New York”. This is an awesome experience for any visitor to New York as it is a great place to take photos whilst walking on the pedestrian route across the bridge, and if there’s space, add a lock to the fence whilst the cars zip by below you. #newyork #brooklynbridge #movielocations #awesomepic #summervacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

The Guggenheim Museum is an amazing museum to visit. It has beautiful abstract architecture that sets the tone of the experience from the moment you step in. It is home for some of the most valuable pieces of art in the world, from some of the most well-known artists in human history. You can walk in and see artwork from greats such as Vincent van Gogh, Picasso, Monet and many others. It is surreal to see paintings that you have seen many times in books and other media up close and personal, getting to witness history firsthand. Even if you are not an avid fan of fine art, there is audio tours that give you extra insight into the history, context and meaning of each artwork so that you can appreciate their individual significance. #historicculture #museumquest #artexhibit #summervacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer
