Nakeli is a quaint tea-horse ancient town

It takes about 30 minutes by car from the Pu'er city area to reach Nakeli tea-horse ancient town. The town is not large, and it has the early charm of Lijiang ancient city without being commercialized. The town is mainly populated by locals selling tea. There is one particularly large shop where you can experience tea making on-site, as well as taste the tea. The owner is very hospitable; whether you buy anything or not, you can sit down and enjoy a tea tasting. According to the owner, all the tea is grown by his family, with good quality and reasonable prices. In addition to tea, there are also several coffee experience halls, all offering a pleasant experience. We arrived around 11 a.m. and played for about two hours, not having enough time to see everything. If you have more time, you can stroll around the town at leisure, experiencing the blend of Eastern and Western cultures through tea and coffee.
