In addition to Shizikou, the lesser-known hiking routes for fall foliage in Siming Mountain include Xiaoluogang, Chapei Village, Beixi Village, Dongshan Village, and the surrounding areas. This fall hiking route is relatively lesser-known. To avoid the traffic congestion in Beixi Village, start from Bankeng Village in a counterclockwise direction, passing through Meishukong, Mache, and Beixi, and return to Bankeng. You'll pass through mountains covered in red maples and a large bamboo forest, and visit the popular Beixi Three Ancient Ginkgo Trees. The hike takes 4 hours, covering 10 km and climbing 400 meters. 👉Highlights ✅Bankeng and Jiaoquqiu fall foliage. A small mountain village surrounded by red maples, with houses built on the mountainside, floating in a sea of red. For fall foliage viewing, it's recommended to view both up close and from a distance. From the middle of the ancient path to Meishukong, look back at Jiaoquqiu, and the ancient village amidst the red and green is as beautiful as an oil painting. ✅Meishukong. A must-pass point on the hiking route, with terraced houses, ancient trees, and red maples, it's also a tranquil and picturesque small mountain village. ✅Mache. This is also a sea of red maples, but due to the altitude, many red leaves have fallen. ✅Large bamboo forest. From Mache to Beixi, you need to pass through a large bamboo forest. The ancient path in the bamboo forest is paved with stone slabs, giving it a sense of history. ✅Beixi Village. The stunning fall foliage in Beixi is due to the mountains covered in red maples and three ancient ginkgo trees. Under the ginkgo trees, the ground is covered with fallen leaves, a sea of gold. When sunlight shines on the ancient trees, the leaves glow, creating a healing and comfortable atmosphere. The beauty of Beixi Village is not only in the fall foliage but also in the streams, weirs, ancient bridges, and the Wenchang Pavilion on the small hill in the village.
