The Tokugawa shogunate granted Mount Fuji to Sengen Taisha, which was later nationalized. Sengen Taisha continued to fight the legal battle until they won in 2004. Thanks to the protection of the deity Sengen, the day was shrouded in fog and the clouds were especially thick.
