Classic Gourmet from Osaka! The Best Place to Eat Takoyaki!
Located on the first floor of HEP Navio in Osaka, there's a Takoyaki Market.
In one corner of it, you'll find Aizuya.
Aizuya was founded in 1933 by the first generation, Tokichi Endo, and two years later, they created the takoyaki, which became a famous delicacy in Osaka.
You can enjoy the original flavor without any sauce.
Since it is already flavored, it is recommended to eat it plain without any sauce. The texture is fluffy and delicious.
8 pieces for 500 yen and up.
You can also try Radio-yaki, the predecessor of takoyaki, which contains konjac and beef instead of octopus!

Definitely Worth a day spend
My day at Japan’s Universal Studios in Kansai was a whirlwind of excitement and fun, especially with the One Piece show. Even though I couldn’t understand Japanese, the energy was infectious. The actors brought the characters to life with such enthusiasm, and the special effects made me feel part of the Straw Hat crew.
Then, I headed to Mario Land, a true gamer’s paradise. I got to experience the immersive environment of the Mushroom Kingdom—jumping blocks, meeting characters, and even “powering up” along the way. Every corner was packed with nostalgic details and interactive surprises, which brought back my childhood memories of playing Mario.
Finally, Harry Potter’s Castle was nothing short of magical. Walking through the dark, enchanted corridors of Hogwarts was like stepping into a storybook. From Hogsmeade to the Forbidden Forest, each detail was mesmerizing, capturing the world of wizards in all its glory. And having the Fast Pass for all rides made the experience so much smoother—no waiting in lines, just pure enjoyment!
The blend of popular franchises and the ease of skipping queues made this a day I’ll never forget.
Minions, Dinosaurs, and Thrills: My Epic USJ Adventure!
#asiatrip
My trip to Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in Osaka was non-stop fun and thrills! First stop: Minion Park! It was like jumping straight into the movie, with giant Minions everywhere and crazy rides. I laughed so much, especially on the Minion Mayhem ride!
Next, I ventured into Jurassic Park. The roaring dinosaurs and jungle vibes were awesome! The highlight was the Jurassic Park ride—I got soaked on the drop, but it was totally worth it for the thrill!
Before leaving, I shopped for souvenirs. I picked up cute Minion goodies and cool dino-themed merch to remember the day. USJ was a wild adventure, packed with fun, laughter, and memories to last forever!

A giant lion head-shaped stage at the shrine ⛩️
#goingplaces
Namba Yasaka Shrine is a unique and lesser-known shrine located in the Namba district of Osaka. It is famous for its impressive and giant lion head-shaped stage, which serves as the main feature of the shrine. The structure is called the "Shishi-no-dou," and it stands about 10 meters tall, with a massive lion's face that symbolizes protection and good fortune. This unusual design makes it a popular spot for visitors looking to experience a less conventional shrine in Osaka.
The shrine itself is dedicated to the god of marriage, which makes it a popular destination for couples. It’s a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, with its quiet atmosphere and beautiful grounds.

Shinsaibashi Oyster Food Topic | All you can eat oysters and fried oysters🦪
Want to eat steamed oysters, instant oysters and fried oysters all at once?
This store in Shinsaibashi, Osaka can satisfy you.
#カキ屋スタンド offers all-you-can-eat oysters at JPY 5080 per adult. Including all-you-can-drink non-alcoholic drinks, it will be JPY 5410, and the meal time is 2 hours.
It is recommended that you book a table online first if you come to dine. The dining environment is a bit like a bar atmosphere, with upper and lower floors. The store clerk will help steam the oysters and set the timer so that you can uncover and remove the oyster shells by yourself after enough time.
Steaming oysters takes about 12 minutes per turn, and some oysters are extremely plump.
The freshly opened oysters are relatively thin and light in taste. For the first few times, they feel like they have been washed too much and need to be dipped in sauce to eat them. After eating it later, it tasted like sea water.
The oyster shells can be dropped directly into the iron bucket under the table.
In the end we were all full.
Freshly fried oysters are also available and are very crispy. Served with salad dressing and soy sauce. The crispy paste is not too thick, and the oyster flavor is relatively strong. If it wasn't too hot, I would have ordered more dishes.
In addition to the above-mentioned all-you-can-eat oysters, there are also three appetizers, mixed rice with oysters, and noodle soup.
There was also a basket of fried chicken fries and a plate of cabbage. These are the meals included in the all-you-can-eat meal plan, but they are not all-you-can-eat.

"Osaka, the food capital of Japan, stole my heart and taste buds!
I spent 5 incredible days in this vibrant city, and it was a culinary adventure! From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The city's energetic atmosphere, rich history, and mouth-watering food made me feel like I was in a food paradise.
I stayed in a cozy hotel in the Dotonbori area, which cost around $300 for the entire stay. From there, I explored the city using the efficient metro system, which cost around $2 per ride.
Here are some of the top places I visited:
- Dotonbori: free entrance (I took in the neon lights, street food, and unique entertainment)
- Osaka Castle: $5 entrance fee (I explored the historic castle and gardens)
- Universal Studios Japan: $70 entrance fee (I experienced the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and more)
- Umeda Sky Building: $10 entrance fee (I saw breathtaking views of the city)
- Shinsekai: free entrance (I explored the retro-style neighborhood and tried kushikatsu)
The food in Osaka was incredible, and I tried everything from street food to high-end restaurants. A traditional Osaka dinner cost around $20, while a fancy dinner cost around $100.
Here's a breakdown of my expenses:
- Flights: $800
- Accommodation (5 nights): $300
- Food and drink: $500
- Transportation (metro, buses, etc.): $20
- Activities and entrance fees: $200
- Total: $1,820
Osaka, I'll be back for more! You have my heart, and I can't wait to explore more of your culinary secrets!"

Japan solo travel for 18 days Day 10 Osaka
#100 Ways to Travel #Japan #Osaka #Osaka Attractions #杝见koji #umedablueskybuilding
Looking back on my 18-day solo trip to Japan in 2022 when the epidemic was just lifted
After returning to Osaka from Kyoto, I went shopping in Umeda, then went to Takimikoji to eat Okonomiyaki, and finally went to Umeda Sky Building to watch the night view.
【Takimi Koji】
I didn’t know what to eat at that time, so I randomly found a restaurant called "Kichi Okonomiyaki". Later I found out that it was a famous restaurant. The owner was very humorous. After discovering that we were Taiwanese, he took us to the door to see and put a "Heng" on the door. "Springgun Cape 7", we each ordered an Okonomiyaki. We had forgotten what flavor we ordered, but we still remembered that it was very delicious! !
【Umeda Sky Building】
The observatory is located on the high floor of the Umeda Sky Building. You can see buildings as far as the eye can see. There are no blind spots in 360 degrees. It is very spectacular. The top floor of the Sky Garden Observation Deck is outdoors. It is extremely cold at the end of October, but the endless Osaka night view is worth it. ! !

The "Three Broomsticks" located in Hogwarts Village™ is a time-honored tavern and hotel that is loved by teachers and students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Everyone will be shocked when they look up at the amazingly high ceiling, the incredible space where wooden stairs and balconies are randomly intertwined.
