A Day in Oslo: Skiing from Dawn to Dusk

As the Year of the Tiger comes to an end, Oslo presented a perfect day for skiing with excellent snow conditions. Despite the biting cold of minus ten degrees, the day was beautiful. After work, I enjoyed a warm meal of snail noodles, which fueled my uphill journey. I managed to reach the mid-point rest stop in an hour, and the downhill return was even faster. I completed an 11-kilometer round trip on my own. As a reward, I indulged in a honning kake, a honey cake with three layers topped with crushed hazelnuts and caramel-flavored sponge. The cake was a delightful choice, earning an 80 out of 100 from me. If I were a Norwegian who could drink coffee at night, I'd give it an extra 19 points, totaling 99. The remaining point is to encourage them to maintain this delicious taste.
