I encountered the most breathtaking view of my life on Sumba Island

The place I visited on Sumba Island was Bukit Wairinding, a spot known for its beautiful mountain scenery. I went there at sunset, so I could enjoy the gradient of the sky changing from orange to blue and then to black. Although I have seen several mountain landscapes before, it was my first time experiencing the endlessly spreading smooth mountain slopes, which deeply moved me. The crowing of roosters and the smell of something burning somewhere added to the unique atmosphere, making it an unforgettable experience. Since it is a bit far from the airport and major hotels, I recommend renting a car or joining a tour to get there.
