If your ever in Bohol , a must see , is the spectacular Chocolate Hills of Bohol On Bohol , there are up to 1776 Chocolate Hills - no I didn’t count them 😁😁 The reason these natural Sandstone Hills are called Chocolate Hills ... is during the dry season , these graphic Hills are brown in colour ... thankfully during our tour of the local area ... the Chocolate Hills were covered in lush green ( even had thunderstorms during our visit ) Interesting ( from our tour guard ) the Bohol’s Chocolate Hills are counted annually , to confirm each hill is still geographically classified as a hill ... for Bohol statistics ( 40 metres above ground level) If you feel energetic 😀😬 it’s 214 steps up to the panoramic observation lookout ... from the tourist information office & tourist drop off , turn around location ... at this must see Tourist location 😎🧐 During our memorable holiday to Bohol , earlier this month ... we were able to visit the Chocolate Hills , by taking a Day Tour from our Hotel in Tagbilaran City ... during our private tour of Bohol ( there are also organised group tours ) we were able to visit other scenic locations , around the interior of Bohol island ... these tours are usually good priced Highly recommend - take your camera 😁😁
