The Elegant and Tranquil Home of Victor Hugo, One of the Representatives of French Romanticism

On the flight to France, I watched the movie adaptation of Victor Hugo's classic work, Les Misérables. I thought to myself that I must find time to visit Hugo's residence when I get to Paris. On the morning of the visit, a light drizzle began to fall. The streets were not crowded, making it a perfect time for personal reflection. The residence has several floors, and if you have time, you can take a closer look at its decor and history. Occasionally, you might find some small items with an oriental touch, which piqued my curiosity about the owner's collection. After the visit, you will pass through a small garden. The rich aroma of coffee and French pastries makes it worth staying a bit longer to savor the experience. There are many art galleries outside the residence, and the works are quite interesting. After browsing, you can sit in a nearby park and watch the passersby, which is quite relaxing. While famous sights are undoubtedly attractive, these less crowded, sentimental corners of the city also captivate me.
