Square Louise Michel is a large green area in front of Sacre Coeur Basilica. It has plenty of space to sit and lie down, walk and even run. The only problem is it is at a slope so to get anywhere on it, particularly to the top, where Sacre Coeur basilica is, you either have to walk the numerous steps, or be lazy and catch the funicular. On the way up you will love the water features, the beautiful flower beds and other features of the Montmartre hill. This park is terraced and lies below the Basilica of Sacro Coeur and gives good views. There is a carousel and a funicular and toilets close by. Worthy of a stop before or after the climb.
