I was exploring the mountainous jungles of Penang when, quite unexpectedly, I stumbled upon a Thai Buddhist temple. As I entered, I was greeted by statues, columns, and various symbols of Buddhism. Inside, I encountered a group of monks who were visibly surprised at my arrival, wondering how I had managed to find their secluded sanctuary. Despite their initial shock, we engaged in warm conversation, and I found them to be incredibly kind and hospitable.
