I've discovered an off-the-beaten-path gem - Haiwozi Ancient Town! 🌈 It's not very famous, but the experience is superb. Even on holidays, there are only a handful of tourists, creating a peaceful atmosphere full of life! 📍 Navigation: Haiwozi Ancient Town 🚗 Transportation: It's a 1.2-hour drive from downtown Chengdu, or you can take the high-speed train or bus to Pengzhou City and then take a bus to reach the town. 🎫 Ticket: Free 🅿️ Parking: 10 yuan 🍃 The ancient town is backed by the Longmen Mountain Range and faces the Jian River, basking in the cool breeze of the riverside, it's not hot even in summer, and you can play in the water by the river and take pictures of the reeds. 🛖 The town has a history of over 200 years and still retains the characteristics of Western Sichuan residential houses, with red lanterns hanging in front of every household and green plants and fresh flowers planted at the door.💐 🥘 There are many special local dishes such as sesame cakes, goose in oil soup, fried rice cakes, pot helmets, beef, which are delicious and reasonably priced. 🍄 On even-numbered days, you can also go to the market where you can find vegetables🥬, poultry🦆, freshly dug bamboo shoots, and kiwifruits🥝 from local farms, all brimming with the breath of life. 🚶‍♂️ After visiting the ancient town, you can go to nearby attractions such as Yangping Xuan Bamboo Forest, Lion Mountain Fitness Trail, etc. 🌼 Tips ✅ It's recommended to go to the river dam to take pictures of the reeds in the evening, it's not sunny and makes for great photos ✅ Bring mosquito repellent, as there are many mosquitoes when playing in the nearby mountains
