A Hiking-Trip Above The Clouds

One of my last trips of this year brought me to Chengdu's mountain range in the West of Sichuan. The mountain is called: Jiufeng Mountain, you can translate it to 'Nine Peaks Mointain'. 🏔️ We went in December, the start of the hike was in the snow. After hiking for three hours, we finally reached the top of the clouds and hiked above it. The sea of clouds was amazing and suddenly we had blue sky. Winter and summer in one hike! 🚗 Best way to go there is by car. It's quite rural, so no public transportation is available. Nevertheless there are hotels and guesthouses in the towns around it. You can also do it as a day trip from Chengdu, but better start before 6am to avoid the dark in the evening. 🎟️ Jiufeng Mountain has no entrance ticket, but a parking fee. I hope next year we can see many more hiking peaks, more nature and more mountains!
