The Ayutthaya hotel is both cheap and excellent.

The hotel is conveniently located along the Asian Highway, so there's no need to detour into the city. It's very clean and the rooms are very spacious. It's situated within Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, and it seems to be a university-owned hotel. There's ample parking available. The room rate was 800 baht per night, excluding breakfast. Direct booking rates are around 900-1000 baht. Overall, I was very impressed. The staff were lovely and provided excellent service. I would rate my stay 10/10.
