Explore the Bard Fortress

The Bard Fortress is situated in Bard, in Aosta Valley, only one hour by car from Turin. It was built on a rocky hill and has a long and interesting history, dating back to Roman times. It was used as a military stronghold, a prison, and a museum. It also played a role in the Napoleonic wars, when it resisted a French siege for two weeks. It's now a cultural and tourist attraction, where you can see exhibitions, events, and workshops.
