Guangxi Pingle Rongjin Ancient Town Yue Dong Guild Hall.

The Rongjin Yue Dong Guild Hall was built in the 13th year of the Qianlong Emperor's reign (1748 AD) and was funded by Guangdong merchants. It is also the location of the Mazu Temple. The entire building has a three-and-a-half courtyard layout and covers an area of about 1,000 square meters. The Yue Dong Guild Hall and Mazu Temple were renovated in the second year of the Jiaqing Emperor's reign (1797 AD) and again in the autumn of the 29th year of the Daoguang Emperor's reign (1849 AD). The renovation was completed in February of the 30th year of the Daoguang Emperor's reign (1850 AD). The renovation cost more than 4,000 gold taels, all of which were donated by local believers.
