Galileo Galilei used the tower for experiments. 3. Mussolini (an Italian dictator) tried to “fix” the tower in 1934. Safe to say he was unsuccessful. 4. The tower has survived four earthquakes. 5. You can walk up to the top of the tower and enjoy beautiful views over Pisa.
