In summary - a mini Boracay/Maldivian wooden chalet + ClubMed vibe! This little quiet sanctuary is located just an hour's drive away (or bike if you're feeling adventurous!) from the hustle&bustle of KL. When the city life gets too loud, it's comforting to have a place so close to home to run to! For rm500/night, we had a premium water chalet with an unobstructed view of the beautiful sea! A king 4 poster, a daybed, a bathtub and an open air rainshower, I'd say it's just nice for a couple/family of 2+2. You have the option of choosing a garden view chalet/other water chalets for RM200-RM400, or Rm1k for a 2-3 bedroom villa for a bigger party. It has all the basic necessities you need and expect (wifi, incl bfasts, toiletries etc) so I need not talk about those. We stayed here many years ago as a couple, and we came back this time with a toddler in tow. I must say it has been maintained quite well after all these years. For those looking to enjoy a private romantic couple time, they have a nice Lounge and Avispa for that (offlimits to under 12). For families with little children(like us), they have the weekend petting farm, nature trails, orchid/spice gardens, henna drawings, 3pools, 2 private beaches, kids room, ping pong tables, fishing kits and kite rentals etc. It keeps the kids occupied and the parents sane(thank God!). It's quite cool having a live peacock accompany you at the bfast table! The petting farm is open during weekends, and you have the FOC option of petting, feeding or taking photos with the little animals. It seems that they are pretty well taken care of. And they dont bite! Breakfast food was decent enough to fill our tummies (kids FOC). We were quite content with staying within the resort compound and not travelling outside to look for food/activities. The 2 private beaches were clean and lovely Our biggest fear travelling during this COVID time was being able to maintain our distance and avoid crowds. Thankfully, the layout of the chalets ensured that we were quite isolated. Checking in-out was fast. Most common areas were openaired. Service was top notch. Despite being masked, you can tell each staff were still smiling behind their masks, being most courteous, helpful friendly to all the guests. For the price, Id say this place is pretty good value for money. They deserve 5 star for their effort. I appreciate local beach places like these that are so easily accessible and I hope they continue to maintain/ improve their standards and keep their beaches clean for our future generation for many years to come! here's some tips to make your trip as awesome as ours: 1. Do your weather research! You dont want rain to ruin your vacay! 2. Don't forget your snacks! 3. petting farm-open on weekends only 10am-12pm. 4. Watch out for sandflies! 5.
