Kensington Palace

Kensington Palace has been the residence of the royal family since the seventeenth century. Charles and Diana lived there. It is now the home of Prince William and Princess Kate. A yew fence has been planted around the property, which allows for a bit more privacy. You'll spend about an hour walking through the palace and then probably another hour at the gardens. I wish there was more historical information about the palace during the tour but it mostly highlights newer fashion. Walking through its halls, one can feel the echoes of the past mingling with the artistry of its architecture. The gardens are immaculately kept, providing a serene backdrop to this royal residence.
