Travel route: Mazu Temple - Meiyu Chaoyin - Rainbow Road - Aolian Pool Beach - Ewei Geological Park - Ewei Beach 🚉Transportation Guide: Xiamen to Putian (about 1 hour and 10 minutes): Putian Station to Wenjia Wharf K09/363 bus (about 40 minutes): Wenjia Wharf to Meizhou Island The ferry runs every 20 minutes, about 15 minutes per trip, round-trip ticket 125/person. Teachers and students can buy discounted tickets for 92/person. Island transportation: On the island: there are buses, sightseeing cars, rental electric vehicles, shared electric vehicles, and shared bicycles. It is recommended to ride a small electric scooter around the island for more convenience. For groups, sightseeing cars are a good option. 👍Highly Recommended: ① Meiyu Chaoyin: One of the twenty-four scenic spots in Putian, located at the northernmost tip of Meizhou Island. Due to its unique sea erosion landform, it resonates under the impact of tides, producing wonderful rhythmic sounds, hence the name. ② Mazu Ancestral Temple: The world's first Mazu Temple, built in the Northern Song Dynasty, and has been renovated and rebuilt many times. It is now a 5A-level scenic spot and a national key cultural relic protection unit. ③ Hometown of the Heavenly Concubine: The site of the Mazu Origin Museum, showcasing Meizhou Island, the birthplace of Mazu, to Mazu believers and tourists from home and abroad, and the spread of Mazu's influence from Meizhou Island to the world. ④ Aolian Pool Beach: Shaped like a crescent bay, very clean, suitable for watching the sunrise, free swimming in summer, and also hosts music festivals. ⑤ Mazu Ping'anli (Film City): The filming location of the Mazu TV series starring Liu Tao. ⑥ Ewei Park: Feiji Cave and Longdong Listening to the Tide are located here, great for photography. The sea erosion landform is definitely worth a visit for those from inland northern regions. ⑦ Golden Beach: A 3-kilometer-long beach, the longest on the island, with gentle slopes and fine, golden sand, perfect for watching the sunset.
