Wanjingtai is named after the sight of Wanjing. It is the birthplace of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people. Poplar trees stand beside the thatched cottage on Wanjing Tai. This is the tree that Mr. Jin Hengjun and his two brothers planted when he was a middle school student who went to school in Pyongyang. The old residence is surrounded by Comrade Kim Il Sung from the childhood age to exercise, set up a patriotic and awesome wrestling field, Qingquan, learning field, warship rock, skating rock, ash and other revolutionary cultural relics. About 100 meters from the old residence, the Wanjingtai Revolutionary Historical Museum opened on April 15, 1970.
