| The Mountain Retreat is really nice. This time we booked the Mountain Retreat for our trip to the Volcano Park The location is great, just a 5-6 minute drive to Volcano No. 3. As soon as we entered the homestay, it felt fresh and quaint Check-in is supposed to be at 2 PM, but the enthusiastic owner let us check in early after cleaning the room ☺️ Our group of four booked the Gantang Residence, which includes two large beds and breakfast for four, all for an average of 200+ per person, which is a great deal It was peak season when we went, so make sure to book in advance The rooms are very clean, one of the best among the nearby homestays. The homestay 🈶 a restaurant that serves three meals a day, with an average cost of 100💰🉑 for a satisfying meal. In the evening, there's also barbecue 🍢 available, enjoying skewers while stargazing ✨ is a unique experience~ We tried the hand-grabbed meat, stir-fried green onion with eggs, and oat noodles, all of which tasted good 🈶 Many other homestay guests come over for barbecue in the evening 🈶 There's a terrace where you can photograph the starry sky🌃 and also get a view of Volcano No. 3🌋 One of the advantages of staying in a homestay over camping might be that you can take a hot shower after a day of fun 🛁
