Valley of the Kings 🗺️

#summerdestinations Visiting the Valley of the Kings in Luxor was a highlight of my summer trip to Egypt. Nestled on the west bank of the Nile, the entrance fee is around 240 EGP (about $7) and worth every penny. Exploring the tombs of the Pharaohs, including those of Tutankhamun and Ramses VI, was a surreal experience. The intricate wall paintings and the sheer scale of the tombs are breathtaking. I also enjoyed the nearby Temple of Hatshepsut, which offers stunning views of the valley. Make sure to bring water and comfortable shoes as it's a bit of a trek.
