Magnificent Mount Zhuoer!

Mount Zhuoer Scenic Area is a treasure found on this Qinghai-Gansu loop trip. Located in Qilian County, Qinghai, it backs onto the majestic Qilian Mountains, with the sacred Tibetan mountain Ami Dongshuo (Ox Heart Mountain) facing it. In June, Mount Zhuoer is covered with lush greenery and red sandstone, forming a unique and stunning landscape. It is said that in July, when the rapeseed flowers bloom, the colors are even more dazzling. Standing on the summit, looking out at the Qilian Mountains, it feels like being in a heavenly place, making it a beloved spot for photographers. The first and second pictures were taken behind the visitor center in the scenic area at dusk, and the last one was taken at six o'clock in the morning, capturing the sunrise over the sacred Ami Dongshuo Mountain. Drove from Xining to Mount Zhuoer, then from Mount Zhuoer to Zhangye. There are many guesthouses next to the scenic area, and hotels are available in the county town.
