Qinzhou·Garden Expo Park

Qinzhou Garden Expo Park is located on the south side of Jinhaiwan East Street in Qinzhou City, covering an area of 82.17 hectares, with a total investment of 930 million yuan. It is the venue for the 9th Guangxi Garden and Horticultural Expo, gathering the essence of Guangxi's garden and horticultural arts. The park focuses on creating attractions such as the Nixing Pottery Museum, Qinzhou Urban Garden, ASEAN Garden, exhibition gardens of various cities in Guangxi, Ecological Science Park, Natural Mountain Forest Experience Area, Waterfront Wetland Scenery Area, Waterfront Plaza, and Rain Garden. The Qinzhou Nixing Pottery Museum is mainly used to display Nixing Pottery, one of China's four famous potteries, showcasing pottery masterpieces from different periods and promoting Nixing Pottery culture. The entrance display area is quite distinctive, with a 70-meter-wide banana leaf at the gate, along with cartoon figures of the Chinese white dolphin, the mascot of this Garden Expo Park, the Han Dynasty horn chime bells unearthed in Pubei, and Nixing pottery teapot shapes, all reflecting the regional cultural characteristics of Qinzhou. Above the exhibition gardens of Fangchenggang, Baise, and Chongzuo, a fortress wall has been built to reflect the border customs. The park features mountains, forests, lakes, streams, and islands with original ecological resources, totaling more than 80 attractions. Each attraction is unique and exquisite, making it a visual feast for visitors. The undulating mountains, surrounding green waters, lush vegetation, and good ecology resemble a beautiful landscape painting. The park, relying on natural mountain and water resources, is magnificent. Within the park, there are attractions such as Wenchang Pavilion, ASEAN Garden, Qingyun Terrace, and Fortress Wall, scattered across 66.35 hectares of green space. A huge dark red building is the most eye-catching. This is the main pavilion of this Garden Expo Park, with a very special shape, depicting a dynamic scene of hands shaping Nixing pottery. The middle part resembles a rotating pottery body, with hands on both sides protecting the pottery, creating a dynamic picture with intersecting lines and curves. Visitors are eager to take photos. The park's layout follows the mountain paths and water features, continuing the landscape characteristics of mountains, water, and forests. The park, with a water area of about 14.13 hectares, is surrounded by green waters, resembling a beautiful landscape painting. The main park road, called the "Pearl Chain" of the "South China Sea Pearl," is like a winding chain, connecting the exhibition gardens of various cities. The park's planning makes full use of the natural terrain and topography, combining mountain shapes and water systems, minimizing damage to the original vegetation, and designing according to the terrain and water, creating a beautiful picture of garden art and natural landscapes blending and undulating. Using the Taoyuan Lake in the center of the park, the entire water system is connected, making the water area reach 14.13 hectares. During the construction and operation of the park, a large number of environmentally friendly materials were used. The entrance plaza is paved with permeable concrete, and the ecological wetland, trees, shrubs, and flowers are combined to fully reflect the concepts of sponge city and ecological park. Qinzhou Garden Expo Park, with the theme of "Coastal Style·Green Rhythm of Pottery Capital," fully respects the original site conditions in its design and construction. With the design concept of "Mountain and Water, Silk Road Flower Language," it meets the functional needs and landscape effects during the Garden Expo while fully considering post-expo operations.
