In the 1950s, Quanzhou folk artists such as Jiang Jiazuo and Li Yaobao initiated the establishment of the "Quanzhou Art Factory", which evolved into a local state-owned arts and crafts factory in 1958. At its peak, the factory covered an area of more than 5,000 square meters and employed more than 1,000 people. Today, the ancient city company has spent 100 million yuan to transform the old courtyard into the "Quanzhou Arts and Crafts Cooperative and Master Studio", which has been reopened. The main building in the Soviet style, with yellow walls and a red roof, is a good match for the pink church next door, and is a good place to take photos. However, what attracts me more is the content inside, the legendary master studios, quietly watching the works and the creation process, is quite healing. I'll come back and learn more.
