Just Back from Quanzhou, Off-season Travel is the Best (with Travel Guide)

I went to Quanzhou at the end of last month. I have to say, off-season travel is the best! Unlike the peak season, you don't have to squeeze through the crowds or wait in line to take photos. You may have to wait a while at Bawang Chaji, but you don't have to wait in line at other places. I will post a photo spot guide later. 🙌🏻 - Day 2️⃣ Coastal Tour ✅ Shishi City: Xiangzhi Wharf ➠ Shishi Xiaowei Sea ➠ Luojia Temple If you have time, you can also visit Wulin Village or Wudian City, where you can see many Nanyang-style buildings and Minnan-style ancient houses. ✅ Hui'an County: Chongwu Ancient City ➠ Huinu Style Park ➠ Xiaozuo Art Museum ➠ Windmill Island Hui'an women are famous all over the world. You must see them with your own eyes when you visit Quanzhou. ✨ These two coastlines are far from the city center. It is recommended to drive or charter a car. - Day 3️⃣ Temple Tour Xuanmiao Temple ➠ Chengtian Temple ➠ Confucius Temple ➠ Qingjing Mosque ➠ Guanyue Temple ➠ Tianhou Temple ➠ Luoyang Bridge or Anping Bridge for Sunset 📿 Guanyue Temple is very popular. 🙏🏻 Be careful not to get burned by incense ash. Luoyang Bridge and Anping Bridge are both thousand-year-old bridges, but they are far from West Street. You can choose one to watch the sunset. · Accommodation Suggestions 🏨 I stayed at Licheng Homestay this time. The overall style is Nanyang. The lobby and rooms are filled with a faint fragrance, which immediately relieves travel fatigue. ✔️ Located at Confucius Temple Square, within walking distance of Confucius Temple, Qingjing Mosque, and Guanyue Temple. There are many local restaurants downstairs. ✔️ Opened in 2024, the hotel has high standards for both software and hardware. The sunlight shines into the room through the French windows. The bedding is especially comfortable, and I slept soundly until dawn. ✔️ Afternoon tea and breakfast are very rich. It is very comfortable to chat with friends while dining on the terrace. ✔️ The homestay provides a 3-hour electric bike ride voucher, which is very convenient for visiting the slightly farther Tianhou Temple. · Other Tips 📕 ❶ There are many delicious foods in Quanzhou, such as Bafanglin Restaurant, licorice fruit, noodles, and ginger duck. I tried them all and was not disappointed. 🤤 ❷ If it is cloudy, it is not recommended to visit the coastline. The wind is strong and cold, and the scenery is not good. ❸ The temperature in Quanzhou is very comfortable now. A thin sweater and an undershirt are enough during the day.
