Kasbah of the Udayas

The last check-in place in Rabat, Aidouya Fortress is located at the mouth of the Bou Regreg River, opposite the city of Sale, connected to the Medina Rabat. It is an old mosque that was built in 1150 and was renovated in the 18th century. The fortress is made of red bricks. It has a large horseshoe-shaped archway facing the direction of prayer. UNESCO listed it as a World Cultural Heritage Site on July 20, 2006. There is a viewpoint called the Plage of Rabat that overlooks the Bugreg River, Sale, and the Atlantic Ocean.
