This breathtaking landscape is not in Europe, but Kazakhstan!

Just 2-3 hours from Almaty, you can visit this beautiful lake for a one day trip! Kolsai Lake is famous for its picturesque scenery. You can see the reflection of mountains and trees in the clear water (Photo 1). As you head further inside, passing through the forest (Photo 2), you can rent a boat and immerse in the view in the middle of the lake (Photo 3). From the viewpoint above, it takes around 10 minutes to get to the base of the lake. There are stairs on the side so it was not too hard climbing up and down (Photo 4) . My 60+ years old parent have no problem walking around the lake. It's a perfect destination to enjoy the peacefulness and tranquillity of nature. #kazakhstan #kolsai #lakes #almaty
