A beautiful trip to the zoo 🇺🇸

#summerdestinations Visiting the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro was a fantastic experience! 🦓 Spanning over 2,000 acres, it’s one of the largest natural habitat zoos in the world. The entrance fee was $20 for adults, which felt like a great value for the vast variety of animals and beautifully designed exhibits. We loved the African and North American sections, especially the lions and bears. Nearby, you can explore the scenic Uwharrie National Forest or the charming town of Asheboro.
