Daoyunlou, an Unseen Attraction Near Shantou

Daoyunlou (道韵楼) Daoyunlou is an octagonal earthen building (Tulou) of the Teochew people. It is constructed in three concentric octagonal rings. The innermost and middle rings are single-story wooden buildings, while the outermost ring is a three-story wooden building with an exposed brick wall on the outside. 🕒Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 💰Costs: 10 CNY (Cash only due to issues with scanning payments) 🚗How to get there: Hire a car from Shantou, travel time ~ 1.5 hours. Note: We hired a car for a day trip. We found a Didi driver who was returning to Shantou from Chaozhou, so we asked if he offered car hire services.
