Sunrise Grand Hotel, Rizhao East Lake 1️⃣This hotel is amazing for a trip to Rizhao! Previously, I stayed at other Ka Yuan hotels, which were all business hotels. 2️⃣But this hotel in Rizhao is huge! It's like a whole resort! It has individual villas and main buildings, all with low floors. There are bridges, streams, lotus flowers, swans, a pet park where you can feed animals, and a classic and elegant private garden! 3️⃣The best part is that it's super close to Gate 2 of Wanpingkou! Just across the road, and the hotel shuttle will pick you up and drop you off at the road entrance! It's only a few hundred meters to the beach at Gate 2 of Wanpingkou, where you'll find the网红店“咖啡与海” (网红店 = internet celebrity store). 4️⃣We stayed in a villa room, which also had an elevator, a living room, a study, and a dining room. The hotel butler upgraded us to a villa suite and gave us fruit and a children's toiletries bag! 5️⃣The villa we stayed in was next to the beach entrance leading to Xiehu Lake. This is the beach facing the city, and at night you can see fireworks and the city's high-rise buildings lit up. The night view is really beautiful! 6️⃣The hotel has electric bikes for rent, and you can eat at "Dongyi Town" nearby, which is very lively at night! The hotel also has free children's sand digging tools to borrow! 7️⃣The coastline of Wanpingkou is very long, and it's super comfortable to ride an electric bike around! Later, I went to Qingdao, and although Qingdao's sand is finer, I still prefer the coastal scenery of Wanpingkou in Rizhao! Each gate allows cars and electric bikes to pass through, and there are also sightseeing cars that you can hail, for 10 yuan per person!
