Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II

The Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king who unified Italy, began construction in 1885 and was completed in 1911. The monument features a large open terrace at the top and inside, there are carvings that tell the story of Italy's unification. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. This area is open to the public for free.
