Admire the fountains at Piazza Navona

Piazza Navona was built on the original site of Stadium of Domitian, built by Emperor Titus Flavius Domitianus in 80 AD. However, there are not many remains from the Stadium left anymore. Piazza Navona is a significant example of Baroque Roman architecture and art. Several features are worth mentioning, such as the famous Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers), designed by the famous Gian Lorenzo Bernini for Pope Innocent X. Four Rivers are being represented and it is such a great masterpiece and worth every second of your time taken to admire the individual sculptures. If you are interested, feel free to learn more about its history or simply indulge yourself reading book or watching films as Piazza Navona has been featured so many times in the media. #celebratewithtrip #rome
