When in… Rome

Most memorable moment: Returning to Piccadilly Roma after the Roma vs Geneva football game. We hadn’t booked a room for the night nor anticipated the amazing city becoming 99% booked upon our return. Just when we thought we were going to have to drive a minimum of 45 minutes to find a place to stay, the owner of Piccadilly Roma gave us the most pleasant surprise. He offered us two affordable rooms remaining at his hotel barely two blocks away. He didn’t stop there though. He offered to walk us to the hotel to be sure we would be satisfied and sold us a bottle of incredible red wine from his restaurant, which he opened for us to enjoy in our rooms as the restaurant was closing.
