#traveldiaries I recently visited Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey, a charming village in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, and it was such a peaceful retreat! 🏞️ Nestled in the hills about 30 minutes from Grasse, this little town is full of Provençal charm. Walking through the village, I admired the old stone houses, narrow streets, and beautiful fountains. The village itself is free to explore, and it feels like stepping back in time with its traditional architecture and quiet atmosphere. One of the highlights was visiting the Grotte de Baume Obscure, a stunning cave nearby. The entrance fee was around €10, and the underground formations were incredible. For nature lovers, there are also several scenic hiking trails in the area, including one that takes you through lush forests and past ancient dolmens. After my hike, I relaxed in the village square with a coffee, soaking in the tranquil vibes.
