First encounter with the World Heritage city - Salamanca

Located in western Spain, it is the capital of the province of Salamanca and belongs to the autonomous community of Castilla y Leon. 👣 It is also the first stop of this trip to Spain ^_^ Stayed for two nights at Hotel Ikonik Plaza Mercado, nestled in the gentle embrace of the old town, right next to one of the oldest universities in Europe, the University of Salamanca, and the Plaza Mayor. I love this wooden window door, and from the balcony outside, you can feel the charm of the old town. Most of Salamanca's buildings were constructed in the nineteenth century by the Marquis of Salamanca, and it has now become one of the most luxurious neighborhoods in Europe, a symbol of elegance and charm. Tasted local red wine at Restaurant Portal del Lino to start the first meal in Spain~~ After dinner, strolled through the famous Plaza Mayor, where sunlight filtered through the gaps in the ancient buildings, casting dappled shadows. The sunset at dusk seemed to soften time itself. 🏰 It gets even more lively after nightfall! The immersive performances of street artists, and almost every shop is full of people. Their relaxation and laughter are the most beautiful background music of this city. And those weathered churches and university buildings quietly tell stories of a thousand years, making people stop and capture this immortal beauty with their cameras.
