One of the most beautiful squares in Spain.

Heading west in Spain ~ Salamanca (Region) It is a Baroque-style square built according to the plans of Alberto Churriguera. On the north side is the Town Hall, a Baroque building with five granite arches and a spire adorned with allegorical figures. Several medallions in its decoration are particularly striking, including those of Charles I, Alfonso XI, Ferdinand VI, Cervantes, and Saint Teresa. The building's facade is three stories high, with semicircular arches and railings. Today, this square is one of the liveliest and most popular places in Salamanca.
