Going up to the Fortress Hohensalzburg

#celebratewithtrip The Fortress Hohensalzburg is an important landmark of Salzburg. It depicts the history of the city and it is still a very popular tourists attraction in the city. In the history of Salzburg, the start of building the Fortress was in year 1077. I admired the beauty of the Fortress and how it stand tall, massive and majestic on the top of the hill! It was a pleasure looking at although it was already my second time visiting the city but it still a place that I keep looking forward to. As we went up there to see the Fortress, I kept on looking at it not worrying about the time. I just wanted to enjoy the view while reading the history on how it was built and the people behind building this large medieval fortress.
