🏖The Ends of the Earth, a place full of legends, a place expressed through stones, a place where couples yearn to visit! Time flies like an arrow, and in the blink of an eye, walking through the scenic area, I am always looking for memories of the past, telling friends about the changes here over the past ten years, always hoping to see the waterfall from back then, the coconut tree from back then, and of course, the Ends of the Earth stone, the Southern Sky Pillar stone, thinking of taking another photo to compare with the past! 🗻This place is also the filming location for many TV dramas, the most famous being the scene in 'Journey to the West' where Sun Wukong breaks out of the stone. Legend has it that this is the birthplace of the stone monkey! And at the Ends of the Earth, the most thrilling activities are the water sports like flying trapeze, speedboats, and yachts. I prefer a speedboat rushing directly to the Nanhai Guanyin, feeling the passion brought by the sea!! 📷The pictures include those taken ten years ago during my first visit to the Ends of the Earth in Sanya, at the Cape Stone, the waterfall, the Southern Sky Pillar, and the entrance of the scenic area. The comparison photos below are from this visit to the scenic area. Fortunately, I haven't changed much, transitioning from my twenties to my thirties without middle-aged weight gain, still young and energetic, hahaha! But isn't it also a pity that there hasn't been much change? Comparing the photos from back then, it's more obvious that a few stones seem to have more marks from the sea's erosion, just like the traces left by people after years of experience! And the inconspicuous coconut tree where a few of us young people took a group photo back then has now been labeled as an internet-famous tree, requiring a queue to take a photo. 🖼The legend of the Sun and Moon Stone comes from a pair of loving Li ethnic couples who, to escape the opposition of their two feuding families, jumped into the sea and turned into giant stones standing in the sea, never to be separated. Later generations carved the characters 'Sun' and 'Moon' on them to commemorate this love story, also known as 'Couple Stone.' This is why tens of thousands of couples and spouses choose to express their love and take photos here, pledging their love to each other. Every year, a collective seaside wedding is held here, and the scene is truly romantic and touching! 🏘Because the Ends of the Earth is not far from the hotel, a half-hour bus ride takes you directly there. Returning to the hotel, taking a bath, and then it's another sleepless night at the bar, celebrating the nightlife. At this moment, the stars have also joined the celebration!
