The last week of summer vacation was spent on a trip to Sanya

This time, we chose the Sanya Bay Holiday Hotel in Sanya Bay. The initial reason for choosing this hotel was its proximity to the airport. Since our flight landed in Sanya at 8 PM, we didn't want to spend another hour traveling to Yalong Bay or Haitang Bay, which would be too tiring. After reading many reviews, we hesitantly chose this hotel and ended up being very satisfied. Previously, I read that being close to the airport would be noisy. However, I booked a sea view room facing Haitang Bay, and since the airport is on the opposite side, we couldn't hear the planes at all. The hotel offers a variety of activities and has multiple swimming pools, with the deepest being 1.4 meters, which is perfect for someone like me who can't swim. There are also pool slides for kids, which are a lot of fun. The room was impeccable, offering a 180° sea view and two bathrooms in the suite, which I really liked. The beach at Sanya Bay wasn't as bad as some reviews claimed. The sea was truly blue during our visit, and although the sand wasn't very fine, it didn't bother me since I don't like walking barefoot on the beach anyway. The only regret this time was booking a flight with China Southern Airlines. The seats were really, really small. When we checked in, we decisively chose to pay extra for the Pearl Economy Class on both the outbound and return flights. The seats were much larger, we could board early, and our luggage was retrieved earlier. I think the cost-performance ratio was acceptable. We paid an additional 199 yuan per person for the flight from Shanghai and 178 yuan for the return from Sanya. I recommend it.
