The Mandarin Oriental, Sanya is definitely worth a stay.

Many people online say that the rooms are old, but I don't think so. The hotel has a Thai style and the rooms have a Chinese style, which I really like. The public areas are beautiful, and it's worth staying here just for them. The hotel also offers water activities such as snorkeling, fishing, and sailing. The location is also good. It's about a 40-minute taxi ride from Phoenix Airport, which is very convenient. The staff are very enthusiastic. They upgraded our room and arranged for us to stay closer to the sea. They helped us with our luggage and the shuttle took us right to our room. We went to the hotel's beach buffet for dinner. When we came back, we found that the staff had closed and locked the balcony door for us, and also closed the curtains. They also left a laundry bag on the bed for us to use. PS: The hotel's beach buffet is over CNY 700 per person. I think it's worth it. Although many people online say that the food isn't good and that it's just for the atmosphere, everyone has different tastes. I think the food suits my taste, especially the roast. I really like the taste of the seasoning, and the unlimited durian is great for a durian lover like me. I hope this review is helpful.
